The obvious mind

What is the future? Is it comprised of a series of events not under our control? Or is it a series of events that are just in abeyance and are building up as a result of our imagination of them?

I think it's the latter. We're forever creating what will become our reality tomorrow, in our minds. We're the authors of our tomorrow. Completely. Independent of any events around us, unless of course we become slaves to the idea that our lives are knit together in a dependent way. I think they're not.

The mind is very upfront, I'd say. It does not believe in circumstances. It believes in thoughts. That's what it translates to the reality, as each one has one of their own. That's what empowers us to so easily and yet, with a lot of difficulty control our realities.
